On behalf of the ARTESiA study, we want to thank you sincerely for your participation in the trial.
You are one of approximately 4000 participants from more than 230 clinical sites located in North America and Europe. It is only with the help of participants like you that we can perform such essential research to find an evidenced based prevention for stroke and systemic embolism.
At the end of the trial, your study records together with those of all other participants will be analyzed. We hope to use these data to determine which treatment is best for preventing stroke or systemic embolism in patients like you, who have experienced at least one episode of SCAF detected by your implanted cardiac device and also have other risk factors for stroke.
